Card processing, about 2.9% + 30¢ per payment, deducted automatically. On your own Stripe account this is Stripe’s fee, billed by Stripe.
monthly, set-up or contract fees. Nothing on cash, card machine, agency or room payments.
Caribbean and Costa Rica: JB Pay wires you every fortnight. Stripe-supported countries: your own Stripe account pays you directly.
Two ways to get paid. Which one depends on where you are.
Both take 4% per card payment plus the card processing fee, and nothing else. What differs is who holds the money and when it reaches you.
Caribbean and Costa Rica
- 1The guest pays by card. JB Pay, Junglebee’s own payment processing, collects the payment.
- 2Every fortnight you receive one wire for the period, net of the 4% and the card processing fee.
- 3A payouts report lists every booking, fee and refund in that wire, exact to the cent.
Any Stripe-supported country
- 1Connect your Stripe account to Junglebee in a couple of minutes.
- 2The guest pays by card and the money lands in your Stripe account straight away. Junglebee takes the 4% automatically.
- 3Stripe pays out to your bank on its own schedule, usually every 2 to 7 days. Refunds and disputes are handled in your Stripe dashboard.
A $100 tour, paid by card.
Fee on top default
Fee absorbed
The same $100 paid in cash, by card machine, through an agency or to the room: you keep $100.00. On your own Stripe account the numbers are the same; Stripe pays you directly and bills its fee to you.

What operators ask us first
Are there any costs besides the 4%?+
Only the card processing fee (about 2.9% + 30¢ per card payment) and, on JB Pay, a flat $25 bank fee per wire. There is no monthly fee, set-up fee or contract, and nothing to pay in a month without card payments.
Who pays the 4%, me or the guest?+
You choose. By default it is added to the guest’s total as a booking fee, so a $100 seat is charged at $104 and you receive the full $100 minus card processing. Switch it off and you absorb it. You can change it any time.
Do I pay anything on cash or card-machine payments?+
No. Cash, your own card machine, agency and room-charge payments recorded at the desk are free. The 4% only applies to card payments Junglebee processes.
Do I pay a fee on GetYourGuide or Viator bookings?+
Not to Junglebee. The reseller connections are coming soon; on those bookings the reseller charges its own commission and pays you directly, and Junglebee takes nothing.
When and how do I get paid?+
On JB Pay (Caribbean and Costa Rica) you receive one wire to your bank every fortnight, in US dollars, with a report listing every booking and fee. On your own Stripe account, Stripe pays your bank on its own schedule, usually every 2 to 7 days.
Is there a minimum payout on JB Pay?+
You choose your minimum. We recommend $300, because each wire carries a flat $25 bank fee. Anything below your minimum rolls into the next fortnight.
What currency am I paid in?+
JB Pay pays out in US dollars only. On your own Stripe account, Stripe pays out in the currency of your Stripe account.
What happens to the 4% when I refund a guest?+
It is returned in proportion to what you refund. A full refund returns the full 4%. The card processing fee is not returned.
Who handles chargebacks?+
On JB Pay, we do: we respond to the dispute with the booking details and keep you informed. On your own Stripe account, disputes are handled in your Stripe dashboard.
Do you collect or file taxes for me?+
No. You set your prices including or excluding any taxes that apply to you, and you remain responsible for declaring and paying them. Reports export to Excel or CSV for your accountant.
